Job Purpose:
To assist in the development, installation, and maintenance of renewable energy projects on site. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects, focusing on electrical systems and components.
Responsibilities:
• Strong software skills like Advance MS Excel, MS Power Point etc.
• Monitor and supervise the installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems on-site.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in the installation of solar panels, wind turbines, and other renewable energy systems.
• Inspect electrical components and systems to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit reports on site activities, progress, and performance metrics.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems
• Monitor system performance and generate reports on efficiency, production, and issues.
• Ensure compatibility and efficiency of electrical systems with other components of renewable energy projects.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for electrical aspects of renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical systems.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance teams.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation and maintenance.
Qualification and Experience:
• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
